URBINA CRIANZA


95% Tempranillo and 5% Graciano and Mazuelo. Fermentation at 28ºC and maceration during 28 days in stainless steel tanks.

The wine is aged 12 months in oak casks, and a minimum of 6 months in bottle before release.

Ruby-cherry colour, well-balanced, nuances of blackberry fruit on the palate with a firm taste, good structure and persistence.

A well balanced wine, round on the palate, with a firm taste, good structure and great potential for ageing in bottle.

Soil 50% clay-limestone and 50% sandy-limestone.

This wine comes from vines of great cuality from vineyards of about 20 yrs of age.

Harvest by hand.

Malolactic: 10 days at 20º, after alcoholic fermentation.
Age barrel: 3 months in new oak, and 9 months in 7 yrs old barrels.
